Scooter Warranty - Lifetime Limited

 



Merits Health Products, Inc. warrants the main frame against defects in material and workmanship for the lifetime expectancy of this scooter (5 years).

For one (1) year from the date of purchase, Merits will replace at their option to the original purchaser, free of charge, any of the following parts found upon examination by an authorized representative in the material or workmanship: Electronic controllers, harnesses, chargers, motors. Labor charges incurred in the installation or repair of the above mentioned parts plus all freight charges are not included in the warranty.

Warranty exclusions: Plastic shrouds, tires, seating, upholstery/armpads, bulbs.

Merits Health Products, Inc. will repair or replace parts as required, provided that an authorization for such return has been acquired by an established dealer and that the part or parts in question are returned fully insured with freight prepaid to us within the prescribed period of warranty. Labor charges incurred in the installation or repair of the above mentioned parts plus all freight charges are not included in the warranty.

Merits Health Products, Inc will not warranty any parts damaged by improper installation and/or repair on the part of the individual owner’s neglect, accident or misuse, nor those parts altered or serviced by an agency not authorized by us.

For items ready for immediate shipment (typically within 3-5 business days), we will process the charges and prepare your order for delivery.

Shipping Details:

If your order is in stock and payment is processed, it will typically ship within 3-5 business days from the date of purchase. We will send you tracking information within 24-48 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the email address provided during checkout. The good news is that most customers receive their products within 3 business days after shipment!

What if there is damage during transit?

  1. Visual Inspection: Please inspect your item and its packaging thoroughly upon delivery. If you notice any visual damage to the item or its packaging, it is crucial to make note of this on the Bill of Lading (BOL) for any freight shipments.

  2. Contact Us Immediately:

    • Order Number: Contact us immediately with your order number.
    • Damage Documentation: Please provide photos or videos showing the damage to the item and its packaging.

Return and Refund Process:

  1. Replacement or Refund: Depending on the nature of the damage and product availability, we will offer to:
    • Replace the damaged item with a new one, or
    • Provide instructions for returning the item for a full refund.
